The basic contents of the course are:
- the basic knowledge of a “computer aided design (CAD)” environment
for the bi-dimensional drawing –AutoCAD- (Didactic MODULE A: CAD);
- the ability to develop simple algorithms in Matlab language (Didactic
MODULE B: PROGRAMMING FUNDAMENTALS)

MODULE A: CAD
The contents of this course are basically a graded course of work,
consisting of lessons giving explanations and examples of methods of
constructions, followed by exercises which allow the students to practise
what has been learned in each lessons. AutoCAD is very complex
computer-aided design (CAD) software package. A 30 hour course cannot
possibly cover the complexities of all the methods for constructing 2D
drawings available when working with AutoCAD. However, it is hoped that
by the time the students has worked through the contents of the course,
they will be sufficiently skilled with the methods of producing drawing
with the software, will be able to go on to more advanced constructions
with its use, and will have gained an interest in the more advanced
possibilities available when using AutoCAD.

simple engineering and mathematical problems. Therefore, the aim of
the course is the acquisition of skills required to implement simple
algorithms using calculation software such as MATLAB / Scilab.
Laboratory lessons are relevant part of the course where such software
packages will be used.

5. Iterative scheme
